Imagine that thousands of armed foreign troops were constantly patrolling American streets in military vehicles. Imagine they were here under the auspices of “keeping us safe” or “promoting democracy” or “protecting their strategic interests.” Imagine that they operated outside of US law, and that the Constitution did not apply to them. Imagine that every now and then they made mistakes or acted on bad information and accidentally killed or terrorized innocent Americans, including women and children, most of the time with little to no repercussions or consequences. This is my third in a series of videos of chats I have with subjects of my paintings. My portrait work comes in two varieties: the individual portrait and the portrait in a series. I paint individuals for commission and I also paint groups of people for the purpose of exploring a particular issue. The latter are exhibited as conceptual shows. Mary Anne and Katie, the subjects I interview in this video, have participated in my work in both ways. Mary Anne’s portraits are part of a series of “before” and “after” portraits of eight women in the midst of various changes. I don’t watch TV anymore so I have no clue what kind of ads are running, but if this one isn’t being broadcast on TV it needs to be. Many people who use the internet regularly have already researched and seen for themselves why Ron Paul is the best choice, it would behoove RP and his followers to see to it that the rest of public has the same opportunity to catch his message as it’s clear that the media themselves and the debates they host try to paint a distorted image of who this man is.
@Philiperdude Sorry, but not even close. At the very end of the video, he says that our bases in their land, is as offensive as some other foreign power forcing us to accept a military base on our land. His entire argument is that we should NOT got to war and instead recede military personal from bases around the world, bring them back to America, and try to focus on our own problems.

RON PAUL WAKE THE FUCK UP we have bases around the world so that we can be ready to fight wherever we’re needed. we have agreements with those countries to be there…..it is beneficial to both sides. we would never let another country set up shop here, because we don’t have to. that’s how it is when youre a superpower. no one will be able to tell you the cost of keeping them open, but it doesnt matter because they are not going to close them. its all about strategy…..
