We arrived last Sunday afternoon (31 August) and were met by Maria, the owner of the Llama Spanish School. Our room is a very sunny and bright room on the third floor of the school. We have our own private balcony with great views of the three surrounding mountain peaks Chachani (6057 meters, 19872 feet), El Misti (5822 meters, 19101 feet), and Pichupichu (5425 meters). We can also look over part of the city of Arequipa from our balcony. The school is in a residential neighborhood and, like all the other buildings in the area, is made almost totally of cement and bricks. Maria and her two daughters(Sonya 5 and Diana 7) live on the first floor. The second floor has two classrooms and a student lounge with satellite TV (we have been able to watch the Republican Convention on CNN International). There is high speed WiFi throughout the school. Arequipa is typical of other lesser developed areas in the world where we have lived in the past. There is grittiness and many partly finished buildings that remind us of Turkey. Yes, it’s called “Perfect 10″.

I don’t know if it’s still around. But that was the whole point – to find natural Perfect 10′s. The models even had to sign liability forms stating/proving they had never had any surgery or enhancements done or they would loose the money for modeling.

Of course, it’s a nudie magazine – I don’t know about other magazines…

Although, you should be proud of the recent Dove ad. campaign – it showed “real” women – and there was an uproar and public cry that they didn’t like it! Can you believe that! How twisted has society become – totally indoctrinated into the facade that we are usually presented!!!
